Writing

Long before I got into shooting or motion graphics, I was a writer. I really enjoy diving into the subject matter of the videos I create, and I don’t shy away from being the voice or even on-camera host. Below are some videos that show a range of the writing I do when I produce a video.

I have been producing and editing a series of videos on COVID-19 for JAMA in collaboration with incredible medical illustrator Emily Ling. I independently reported and wrote these videos, a selection of which is below.

I have had the privilege to collaborate with some incredible writers in creating videos. For these videos about the universal flu vaccine and about immunosuppression and COVID-19, I got to join forces with a journalist colleague. We wrote these scripts collaboratively.

I have experience writing scripts that range from basic science to health policy to economics. The videos below are some of my favorite examples.
